The first taste of 2023 Beaujolais Nouveau. A dozen cheeses from all over Europe (and New York and California). Good company (you and other Verdi clients). Your colleagues, associates, partners, spouse, family, and friends are all welcome. Don’t forget to RSVP!

In case you’re wondering how to toast with a glass of Beauj in your hand, you can say, “à votre santé! which translates as “to your health!” And if someone raises a glass and says it to you, you may respond with, “à la vôtre” (back atcha!).
BTW if you are wondering why there’s a circumflex over the “o” in “à la vôtre” but not in “à votre santé,” you can ask Bob, who looked it up.
The vintage of 2023, for many parts of France including Burgundy and Beaujolais has been rated as promising! So at the Verdi Beaujolais Partee this year, expect a wine that will go with any cheese, a happy group of celebrants to toast with, and a few new cheeses to try, as well as many old favorites!
It will be French, and white, and a chardonnay-based wine. Like the Beaujolais Nouveau, it will be a good match for the cheeses.
This year’s selection with be similar to last year’s, with heavy emphasis on the favorites, including several varieties of Camembert, and three kinds of goat cheese directly from
the dairy in California. And look for larger portions of the Girasole tapenades this year (we ordered more this year, because they disappeared quickly!).
